Child Care

"I have come home from work early on a number of occasions
and heard them laughing and playing upstairs without them even knowing I was home."

We're there when you can't be!

With two-income families or single-parent families on the increase, from time to time, most parents need someone to care for their children. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you will definitely concentrate on your job more fully if you know your children are being cared for, fed and secure in their familiar routine in their own home.

Cardinal Nannies supplies professional, experienced nannies who have undergone references and criminal record checks, and CPR courses - adding peace of mind to your list of reasons to choose one of our caregivers.

Babysitters put in time; Nannies fill the time.

We Put Your Mind at Ease

Leaving a child is one of your most stressful challenges as a parent. By meeting in your home and discussing your needs and preferences, we can help to reduce your stress. Our goal is to reduce the risks as much as possible, so you can leave home with peace of mind.

Making the Right Choice

We arrange for you to interview appropriate, available potential nannies who have been thoroughly screened. Each potential nanny is interviewed in person by owner, Moyra Stephen, who founded Cardinal Nannies & Companions Inc. in 1985. She hand-selects those candidates who she knows will provide the optimum level of care for your precious children. We will share the candidates' references with you, and you will know when you have found the right person by your intuition, or "gut instinct," plus the way they interact with your children.

Cardinal Nannies treat your children as their own, spending quality time with them. In addition, our Nannies do housework and chores such as laundry, cleaning and meal preparation - whatever everyday tasks would be done during the time they spend in your home.

We offer caregivers who will work everything from three-hour shifts to full-time live-in positions. Our workers who provide care for clients with special needs are specially trained to be able to offer the most up-to-date care for their charges, and constantly update their own knowledge and skills bases. We accommodate your work schedule.

If you've reached the point of not being able to find appropriate in-home child care, please fill out our on-line client form, and we will be delighted to set up an interview. For more information, feel free to contact us.
